Many more options are available. If in doubt, just ask. We are often asked for a “Simple Will”. These do not exist in Professional Estate Planning as they leave too many factors unprotected. A DIY Will may seem to cover what you need, but remember you won’t be there to pick up the mess they can leave. If you’re basing your family’s protection on price alone, we are not the Estate Planners for you. However, we are extremely competitive compared to Banks, Solicitors and other Will Writers 

Single Will – £195

  • Straightforward Will passing assets to Children or partners etc. Additions are extra.

Mirror Will – £295

  • Straightforward Will mirroring with Partner/Spouse wishes being exactly the same. Additions are extra.

Basic Clone Will – £395

  • Specific Will Cloning where Partner/Spouse wishes, or other details are significantly different. Additions are extra.

Will Rewrite (1). Rugby Wills drafted. Basic cost £45 plus any new protections

Will Rewrite (2). Drafted elsewhere. Cost dependant upon initial meeting from £195

Will Checking – £60

  • Professionally checking that your existing Will is up to date with current legislation, continues to satisfy your future wishes, ensures the minimum payment of Inheritance tax from your estate and checks possible attacks on the Will. Just send photo/scan a complete copy for a report.

Memorandum of Wishes – Free

  • This is an essential document that supports the Will and is a guide for the Executors. It is free to create and update by yourself and includes details of financial accounts and more. Just ask for the template. It helps find information when you’re not here and prevents squabbles as you write the details personally.

Property Probate Trust – £450 for two Wills For couples, Mirrored

  • Spouses typically have the right to reside, with beneficiaries entitled to 50% of the property and certain major tax benefits. Designed to ensure 50% of the property goes to your chosen beneficiaries and not be attackable elsewhere

Property Gift £45 per Will

  • Where the property cannot use a Property Trust to show the property is going to the next direct family member, to access the Residential Nil Rate Band Tax allowance. (currently £175k each in addition to the £325 Nil Rate Band allowance)

Flexible Life Interest Trust (Flit) – For couples. One per Will, Mirrored

  • An enhanced Property Probate Trust designed to efficiently manage finances, properties, and the Residence Nil Rate Band (RNRB). This trust also includes a fundamental discretionary trust. It is ideal for most inheritance situations without restrictions or special requests.

Discretionary Trust –  One per Will, Mirrored for couples.

  • Expressing your specific wishes for beneficiaries is crucial, particularly if you anticipate potential challenges. Issues such as an inability to manage an inheritance, substance abuse, concerns about marriage, divorce and sideways disinheritance can arise. You can ensure your intentions are honoured by clearly outlining how your legacy should be distributed. This approach is frequently paired with a Property Trust for enhanced management and security.
